Jesus said in His Word, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). This means that as a born-again child of God, it is natural to hear and recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit when He speaks to us. This ability is not reserved for pastors and church leaders alone, but God has extended it to all of His children so that He can guide them.
 If a baby of only a few days old can recognize the voice of his mother and the sheep recognize the voice of the shepherd, it is inconceivable that the children of God should not know how to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit…. It is to correct this anomaly that the Holy Spirit himself inspired this training.
 Many Christians are not fulfilling the good works for which they were recreated in Christ and are therefore going around in circles throughout their walk because they have neglected to learn to hear God… And every Christian should know that if he is not fulfilling the purpose for which he came to Christ, he is actually fulfilling another agenda, that of the devil.
 In order for no satanic agenda to take place in the life of the Christian, the Bible recommends walking by the Spirit and not according to the flesh, but one can only walk by the Spirit by knowing how to recognize the voice of God and by walking according to His instructions.
 Gone are the days when you had to look to your spiritual leader to know what God is saying about you... It is time to come out of spiritual infancy and train your ear to recognize the voice of God for yourself and your family over whom God has established you as spiritual leader.
